Pirates Name Kerrigan as New Pitching Coach

The Pittsburgh Pirates named Nancy Kerrigan as their new pitching coach.

"We used to get coaches who knew something about baseball, but that never did our pitchers any good," said general manager Neal Huntington.

"With Nancy, we're getting a coach who will teach our pitchers to deal with pressure, have a good long program, and being able to bounce back quickly from injuries. And if they do have a lousy outing, they'll at least display some poise in the kiss and cry area."
