Greetings From Western Pennsylvania, Where...

...we love to decry the evils of big government while extolling the virtues of our duplicative locally controlled service providers (we don't call them "government, though...)

As reported in The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, One of America's Great Newspapers:

When snow begins to pile up on roads in Allegheny County, the job of clearing them falls to more than 100 governmental jurisdictions, including PennDOT, Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh and smaller boroughs and townships.
