Great Tits

There's nothing like great tits. And now, from the world of research, we know more about how to keep them great.

According to an article in the New York Times, distributor of "all the news that's fit to print", we learn that Great Tits, those perky little songbirds, have moved beyond the typical diet of seeds, insects, berries and fruits, and have taken up pecking and eating small bats.

They actually attack the bats while they're hibernating. Imagine it, you're sleeping, and get woken up by some great tits.

Life doesn't get much better than that!
