It was a surreal Memorial Day. It was my 24th Anniversary. And we buried my wife's sister-in-law today, after only 1-1/2 years of marriage. Some things just aren't right.

A few years ago, my best friend died just after his first anniversary. There's never a good time for something like that, but there certainly seems to be bad times for it.
